I´m getting things ready for Saturday´s "Christkindl Markt". Baking and packaging Christmas cookies and slices, putting the last coats of paint on Good Luck stones, quilting table runners and filling tissue holders. I´ve managed to get so much finished this year even though I´ve been working 20 hours a week teaching aswell. I am more organised, more motivated and more positive than last year - last year´s frustration is what led me to start this blog almost a year ago and I am amazed at the difference it´s made!

I just revisited your very first posts and my what you have done! I'm so impressed! Congratulations and good luck with these lovely treasures at the market.
Wow, I left a comment and it seemed to disappear into thin air. I'll try again :)
I'm so happy for you that when you look back on 2006 you can say that so much has changed for the better and that you're feeling more positive. And I think it's so cool that blogging has documented all of that change and growth! Yay you, Claudia!
Yeah you.
I love the photo story boards and those stones and the cookies, and runners-all of it gets a big wow. You motivate me. I don't know if I can say I am more organized this year. I still have not started any Christmas stuff yet so I would say that is probably a no.
LOL.
XOXO
Wish I could visit Christkindl Markt...you've made some wonderful things. I'd love to have a huge map of the world covering one wall, pinpoint where my blogging friends live and join them up with threads...there's a huge web of women forming out there and the support and encouragement is worth its weight in gold!
I want to go! I wish i could fax myself over to your place for part of the holidays and then fax myself right back! the photos are wonderful and make me want to be there to see and eat and smell it all in person!
first, i want to eat that chocolate right now. and i want to fax myself there along with alexandra in order to do it! those fabrics are gorgeous...love them....love them!!!
and the stones - perfect...
but wait...is it really only 3 1/2 weeks? oh my goodness. i better kick it into high gear over here. (hee, hee...i probably won't do that this year, but i at least need to do a little shopping...)
Ooo - One of these years I am coming back over there for the Kristkindelmarkt. I AM. Have a super time! I was born in Nuremburg and went there when I was little -- So magical.
Hi Claudia!! I'm back! I've just read through some of your posts and I am so so PROUD of you for all of the things that you have accomplished and the changes you have made this year - you are an inspiration!! (I'm going to try to find that book from your last post!)
My mouth is watering - not over the chocolates but over the red piece of patchwork - stunning!!
I've missed you! Good to see you again!
xoox
Yum, those chocolates look delicious!!
Loving all the delights here on your blog...and I also wanted to add that I am so happy for you in regards to all the positive changes that have happened in your life. Congratulations :)
Everything looks great! So glad the blog has had such a positive effect -- I'm gald you started it, too! Or else we would never know you. Isn't that weird?
What a fabulous lot of goodies! It is one of the joys of living in Europe that one can attend these kinds of markets, though I wish you were bringing these things to our markets. They look so good, I could eat the photos.
It's so good to read about what a positive effect blogging has had on you over the last year. I know that a lot of us get inspiration from your positive drive, your vreativity and your good cheer even in the face of some pretty big hills you've had to climb.
